Features and Functionality

GS-2388E/F implements 8 Gigabit TP/SFP or TP/GBIC Dual Media ports for various Gigabit Ethernet media, specifically designed for MTU (Multi-Tenant Unit) application. It’s fully compliant with the standards of IEEE 802.3/u/x/z/ab. With SNMP agent and web-based management, the network administrator can logon the switch to monitor, and configure. In addition, GS-2388E/F abounds with functions, including QoS (Quality of Service), Rapid Spanning tree, tag-/port-based VLAN, Port Trunking, Port Security, RMON and IGMP snooping capability via the intelligent software. The overall network management is enhanced and the network efficiency is also improved to accommodate high bandwidth applications with security.

·Supports 8 Gigabit TP/SFP or TP/GBIC Dual Media ports
·Full L2 management functions including STP, RSTP, IGMP, GVRP/GARP, LACP, 802.1x, SNMP v1, v2c and four RMON groups
·Supports 802.1p, ToS classification function and per port 8 priority queues
·Supports User priority vs. Diffserv remapping
·Supports 802.1p/q packet forwarding priority: 8 classes based on per port basis
·Support failover function to provide a backup link for an existed link. When a link failed, the job on it will automatically hand over the backup port
·Support Illegal Access Report function to display the unauthorized users
·Supports SNMP v2c with MIB II and RMON I
·Supports text-based, web-based and SNMP manager management through any port
