Features and Functionality

The RC-2201A is designed to make conversion between 10/100/1000 Base-TX and 1000Base-SX/LX Fast Ethernet.The RC-2201A can allow two types of segments connecting easily with efficient and cost effective.These connection options are able to for various applications.

With SNMP agent, web-based management and Telnet text-based manual driven management, the network administrator can logon the remotely converter to monitor, configure and control the activity of each port. In addition, the converter will be shut down if the cooling system fails and the temperature is too high. The overall network management is enhanced, and the network efficiency is also improved to accommodate and deliver high bandwidth applications.

·Supports E-mail client (SMTP RFC 821) and Mobile Phone short message (SMS) up to six staff for sending Traps and Alarm message
·Supports auto shutdown when temperature reaches too high and the cooling system fails
·Supports 802.3x flow control for full-duplex ports and backpressure for half-duplex ports
·Programmable max. Ethernet frame length of range from 1522 to 1536 bytes
