Overview
ET-108 is an Ethernet IEEE802.3 10Base-FL fiber optic transceiver designed to provide cost effective and high performance fiber optic communication links. It connects a variety of PCs to a fiber optic 10Mbps CSMA/CD LAN system at link distance up to 4 kilometers. ET-108 is equipped with two fiber optic connectors (one for transmitting and the other for receiving) and one AUI connector for connecting to standard AUI interfaces.There are 4 LED indicators on ET-108 and they are used to monitor and diagnose power, data transmitting,data receiving and collision respectively.
