Overview

ES-1008 is specifically designed for MAN application. It implements 8 Fast Ethernet TP ports, one 1000Mbps TP/Fiber dual media port and one module slot with various removable modules. One dual media port implements one fiber port and one TP port at the same times. This covers the connection problem. in Gigabit LAN. With web-based management, the network administrator can logon the switch to monitor, configure activities in the device. In addition, the switch implements the QoS (Quality of Service), Spanning tree, tagged VLAN, Trunk, Port Security and IGMP capability via the intelligent software. The overall network management is enhanced and the network efficiency is also improved to accommodate high bandwidth applications.
