Benefits

  • Feature-Rich Ethernet Switch for High Bandwidth Aggregation Applications

The switch delivers advanced functionality in this Multi-Gig Ethernet switch including L2 and L3 switch features, etc. It also enhanced security features such as IP source guard, Access Control List guard your network from unwanted or unauthorized access.
It helps users to build on the market-leading price/performance with Multi-Gig Ethernet switch, and provide secure, reliable for aggregation network deployments.

  • Exceptional Precision with IEEE 1588v2

The switch performs IEEE1588v2 PTP function, which is implemented in the hardware architecture to assure low latency and high time accuracy – which is critical for delay-sensitive financial and mobile applications.

  • ITU-T G.8032 (ERPS)

Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) is an effort at ITU-T under G.8032 Recommendation to provide sub-50ms protection and fast switching recovery for Ethernet traffic in a ring topology, and at the same time ensuring that there are no loops formed at the Ethernet layer.
These features contribute to significant reduction in operational expenditures and allows for troubleshooting without expensive truck rolls.
